Rainwater Harvesting Structure

Rainwater Harvesting Structure is the technique of collection and storage of rain water into reservoirs or tanks. The underground water is depleting in large scale area due to its large -scale withdrawal at many places. Siruthuli, a non-governmental organization for environmental sustainability has been engaged in various water management practices for the past 16 years. 4 rain water harvesting structure had been constructed in our campus . An open slab structure is being constructed in front of the boys hostel 1. Cover slab structure is constructed near Kraft. Each  structure consists of about 250 feet bore. Two existing structure have been rejuvenated and has built as rain water harvesting structure and the capacity of each structure is 25000 litres approximately . These structures are being successfully made my Siruthuli team.
